Season 1: Episode 14: I Shall Believe

Peyton is about to tell Brooke about her and Lucas sneaking around when she receives a phone call about the accident.  Talk about bad timing.

Lucas gets out of surgery and is stabilized but in a coma.  Karen runs into an Officer and he tells her that Keith's alcohol intake was just shy of the legal limit.  She confronts Keith and is visibly upset and tells Keith to leave the hospital.

Haley is having a difficult time visiting Lucas in the hospital since the last time she saw him they were in a huge argument.  Haley finally went with Peyton to visit him but she wasn't able to stay.  She couldn't stand the sight of him laying there.  There was nothing that she could do about it.

Dan shows up at the Cafe and tells Deb that he is not giving up on his family.  He won't agree to a Divorce.  Deb has given up on trying, and just wants to get it over with.

Keith stops by the hospital to drop off a gift for Lucas.  A nurse mentions that the billing department is trying to speak to Luke's mom or dad about billing discrepancies.

Luke's peers show up at the rivercourt to write messages on the court with chalk for him.

After a little coaxing from Peyton, Nathan shows up at the hospital to visit Lucas.  While he is talking to him, Luke wakes up.  Nathan heads over to the Cafe to tell Haley that Lucas was awake and that he visited him because he knew that she couldn't.  He also said that he doesn't regret using Haley to get at Luke at the beginning of their relationship because they would have never gotten together and she has helped make him into a better guy.  He took her to visit Lucas.

Karen goes to the dealership to visit Dan.  He was thinking that she would be upset that he authorized the surgery and immediately starts to defend himself.  She hugs him and tells him thank you.

I think that I would have reacted the same way Haley had if my best friend was in a coma in the hospital following an argument between the two of us.  I would feel guilt ridden that I said the things that I said and quite concerned that I may not be able to take it back and apologize.  I would also be extremely upset if someone drank before driving in a vehicle with my child (if I had one).  I don't care HOW nervous you are!  You don't do that!

Last but not least....Haley and Nathan.  I have been in love with their budding romance since the very beginning!  Even though One Tree Hill is over now, I still can't get enough of Naley!  I could NEVER get enough of Naley!  Hands down the most epic tv love story to have ever graced our television screens.  They make me swoon!

Here are the ending scenes of this episode:
